In a 2010 national survey of college freshman, it was discovered that students perceptions of their drive to succeed and academic ability are at an all-time high: 3/4 said that they are above average in these two traits. It may sound like great news, but it was overshadowed by another statistics that painted a far grimmer picture:
Today’s students have the worst emotional health of any student group ever studied.
