Who would’ve thought that there could be another “Air” activity that could kill the mood of a date faster than Air Guitar? Air Sex was invented in Tokyo in 2006, reportedly by a group of bored men without girlfriends (of course the situation didn’t help them in the girlfriend department but apparently they’re not bored anymore). The goal is for clothed men and women to stimulate sexual activity on an invisible partner in a competition before an audience. Think of it like air guitar — only with sex.
